Iron Paw K9 is a family-owned business founded by Blake and Sarah Forrester, serving dogs and their owners throughout Hall County, Atlanta, and the surrounding areas.
With years of experience training and handling law enforcement K9s, Blake is passionate about helping every dog reach its full potential through clear communication, structure, and trust. Sarah's background as a veterinary technician and her heart for animals ensure every dog receives exceptional care, safety, and compassion during their stay.

Our Board & Train programs are designed for owners who want to give their dog the strongest foundation possible through consistent, hands-on training in a structured environment. While staying at Iron Paw K9, your dog lives, learns, and trains alongside our experienced trainers each day, allowing us to build reliable obedience, improve manners, and address unwanted behaviors through consistent guidance.
Because your dog is immersed in a controlled training environment, we can provide individualized instruction, daily repetition, and clear communication that helps create lasting results. Whether your dog needs basic obedience, behavior modification, confidence building, or help overcoming specific challenges, every training plan is customized to their unique needs and goals.
Throughout the program, your dog receives dedicated one-on-one training, personalized care, and the structure needed to succeed. Before graduation, we also work closely with you to ensure you understand how to maintain your dog's progress at home, setting both you and your dog up for long-term success.

Our 6-week Day Training Program is the perfect option for owners who want professional training while remaining actively involved in their dog's progress. Your dog will spend one to two days each week training with our experienced team before returning home each evening, allowing them to practice what they've learned in their everyday environment.
During each training day, we focus on building obedience, improving manners, and addressing your dog's individual goals through structured, one-on-one training. At pickup, you'll receive a 30 to 60 minute training recap where we'll review what your dog worked on, demonstrate new skills, answer questions, and provide homework to continue reinforcing the training at home.
This program is best suited for owners who have the time and commitment to consistently practice between training sessions. By combining professional guidance with daily follow-through at home, you'll play an active role in building lasting results and strengthening the bond with your dog.
